Six wins from eight, two British titles
A single card for the junior squad, most of the wins coming by finish.
Level 3 qualified coach, BJJ blue belt and active amateur fighter. Children and adults, Liverpool and Deeside.
Tomas Brennan fights out of Aspire Combat Sports Academy in Liverpool and coaches there too, right across the programme, from three year olds taking their first class to adults getting ready to compete. Two or three days a week he is over the border at North Wales Fight Academy in Deeside, running MMA fundamentals and private sessions.
The background is mixed on purpose. A blue belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu, a striking base built in boxing gyms, wrestling on top, and an amateur MMA career that is still live. Most of what gets taught on the mats was pressure tested by him that same week.

British titles taken on one card, from six wins in eight bouts.
Tom coaches and corners the junior competition team alongside the academy staff. Nobody is pushed towards competing. The ones who want it get prepared properly.
What you can book
The whole sport broken into its parts. Striking, clinch, takedowns and ground work, taught slowly enough that a first timer can follow and hard enough that it sticks.
One hour, one focus, no queueing for pads. The fastest way to fix something specific.
Two to four people who want the attention of a private session and the pressure of a partner.
No gi fundamentals from the first position. Blue belts welcome on the same mat.
Technique, discipline and confidence first. Competition only for the ones who ask for it.
Forty five minutes of balance, listening and rolling around, disguised as a martial arts class.
Timetables move with the seasons. Ring before you travel and Tom will confirm the session is on.
